THE GREATER GOOD

SHOWING UP FOR WHAT MATTERS.

I believe in the power of education, opportunity, curiosity, and the people who make extraordinary things possible. I also believe in putting my time and energy behind the things I care about.

Some things are worth more than an opinion. They’re worth showing up for.

Here are a few of the organizations and causes I’ve chosen to support. I hope you’ll explore their work, consider what matters most to you, and perhaps find something that inspires you to get involved.

01 / COMMUNITY & ALUMNI LEADERSHIP

4A | Columbia Business School

Building community and opening doors for others.

I serve on the board of 4A, the African American Alumni Association at Columbia Business School. The organization brings alumni together, celebrates Black business leadership, and creates pathways for connection, mentorship, and opportunity.

I’m committed to celebrating the achievements of our community and creating connections across generations of Black business leaders.

02 / MUSIC ADVOCACY

The Recording Academy

Advocating for the people who make music possible.

As a Recording Academy member and music advocate, I care about protecting the people whose creativity makes the industry possible.

At Music Advocacy Day on October 8, 2026, I joined fellow members in conversations about artificial intelligence, creator rights, and the future of music.

03 / ENVIRONMENTAL RESEARCH & CONSERVATION

Earthwatch Institute

Understanding the world is one way to help protect it.

As an Earthwatch Teacher Fellow and Youth Facilitator, I participated in field research and helped connect students with scientific exploration.

Rewilding the Scottish Highlands was one example of how those experiences deepened my curiosity about biodiversity, conservation, and what it takes to better understand the natural world.

04 / MENTORSHIP & ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY

iMentor

Potential is everywhere. Opportunity isn’t.

iMentor helps young people gain exposure, build relationships, and imagine possibilities beyond their immediate environments.

As a former educator, I’m passionate about helping students explore their interests, build confidence, and pursue ambitious futures.

05 / STEM EDUCATION & EXPLORATION

JASON Learning

Science should be something students can step into.

In 2017, I was selected as a JASON Learning Teacher Argonaut and joined the Penang Hill BioBlitz in Malaysia.

The experience connected my work as a STEM educator with real scientific exploration and reinforced how powerful learning becomes when students can see science happening beyond a textbook.

What is worth showing up for?

Support can look like time, attention, expertise, advocacy, mentorship, or a donation. The form matters less than choosing something you care about and participating.

Maybe one of these organizations speaks to you. If not, I hope this page gets you thinking about what does.
