COLUMBIA BUSINESS SCHOOL

HOST · MARCH 2026ABOUT ME
I’m a New York City native with Jamaican roots, an investor and strategist, and a former middle and high school STEM educator.
My career has taken me from the classroom to Columbia Business School, Goldman Sachs, McKinsey & Company, and now the entertainment industry. I’m also a member of the Recording Academy’s 2026 New Member Class and serve with iMentor.
I’m interested in business, culture, technology, and the ideas shaping how people create, connect, and spend their time.
Outside of work, I’ve traveled to more than 75 countries, I’m constantly reading or listening to something new; and I’m an INTJ, which probably explains my need to understand how everything works.

I started my career teaching STEM in New York City middle and high schools before moving into business, finance, consulting, and investing.
For a long time, those moves looked unrelated. Now I see the opposite.
Each experience gave me another way to understand people, organizations, and business. I’m especially interested in helping other people see that changing direction doesn’t mean starting over.
